Testing and Assessment Temporary Site Closure

In order to mitigate community transmission of the COVID-19 virus, we are temporariliy limiting our capacity to maintain adequate social distancing.

This measure may impact your testing appointment and we apologize for the inconvenience this decision may cause.

Pearson VUE Testing

Testing Services stays committed to helping our students succeed by supplying their testing needs during this season to help them move towards their goal of graduation.

Access to our campus will be restricted due to Governor DeSantis's stay-at-home order starting Friday August 13th 2020.

If you are not an FGCU student and are not granted access to university grounds, contact Pearson VUE to have your test rescheduled.

Feeling sick?

If on your appointment date you are experiencing the following symptoms: fever or feeling feverish/chills, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, fatigue (tiredness) or shortness of breath; Please contact us to have your testing appointment rescheduled.


Credit by Examination

Credit-by-examination is a tool to allow you to accrue college credit in FGCU by taking a test at FGCU.

Rules and Procedures

  • Testing and Assessment Services transitioned to a new pricing model for online appointments.

  • You need to bring a government-issued photo identification with signature on the day of your test, and other necessary items.

  • Personal belongings must be stored inside lockers provided prior to admission to the testing lab; you may not have access to certain items while taking an exam.

  • Only the candidate can be admitted into the office and computer lab.

  • You may have access to certain items while taking an exam.

  • You may wear hoodies, jackets, or sweaters into the testing lab.

  • We may issue a refund in certain cases and within certain limits. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • In accordance with the guidelines of the test provider, we may be able to issue a copy of a score report.

  • We support the Smoke-Free and Tobacco-Free Campus initiative.
