Support For a Healthier Mind and Body

Physical and emotional well-being contribute to your success in work and in life. Our programs and resources encourage employees to learn more about taking better care of themselves and making positive lifestyle choices.

The FGCU Employee Wellness committee aims to establish and maintain a worksite that encourages environmental and social support for a healthy lifestyle. We promote and encourage wellness practices for faculty and staff through education and programs.

Our programs encourage personal and professional productivity as well as physical and mental well-being. Some of the benefits employees can experience through participation:

  • Improved coping skills with stress or other health factors

Full Plate Diet Program

The Full Plate Diet Program is a lifestyle approach for losing weight. The eight-week course is offered annually to faculty and staff at no cost for those who meet the program attendance requirement.
