Alice Wheelwright provides leadership and vision for the University's strategic and integrated marketing, communications and creative services functions, and the greater campus communications and marketing community. She serves as FGCU’s chief marketing and communications officer and is responsible for the overall communications, research-based messaging, marketing and branding activity to increase the University’s visibility and to support its mission, vision and goals.
Prior to joining Florida Gulf Coast University, Alice held key marketing, communications and global sales roles at Kennesaw State University, Stratford School, Ecolab Inc., Coca-Cola, Nabisco Brands and Ogilvy.
Alice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University. She is an avid lover of world travel and connecting cultures and people through her photography.
