Located in southwest Florida, the PGA Golf Management Program at FGCU boasts one of the most desired geographical locations in the country, with over 150 courses within an hour of campus. Current PGA Golf Management students have the opportunity to work part-time, intern, and play at some of the most exclusive facilities in the country.
Students attend their PGM classes in our state-of-the-art building, Sugden Hall. Our building features a Swing Performance Lab, Golf Club Fitting Lab, and model PGM Merchandise Shop.
Our Swing Performance Lab consists of two full-swing hitting bays each equipped with a TrackMan™ Launch Monitor to provide students with valuable ball flight feedback. The lab also consists of a high-speed video bay equipped with V1™ Swing Analysissoftware, BodiTrak™ Pressure Mat system, and Trackman Virtual Golf Simulation software –which offers virtual golf simulation on over 30 courses around the world. The 3rd bay houses a permanent artificial putting green with SAM PuttLab™ and Blast Motion™technologies for detailed analysis of the putting stroke. Finally, students have access to biomechanical evaluation and biofeedback training utilizing K-VEST™ 3D technology.
The Golf Club Fitting Lab features a Mitchell Lie/Loft machine, Mitchell Digital Putter Lie/ Loft machine, re-gripping stations, Mitchell Frequency machine and swing weight measuring devices to analyze all static club performance variables.
The model PGM Merchandise Shop stocks golf apparel, bags and logoed accessories available for discounted purchase by PGM students.
