Introduction to Construction Management Certificate Program $1050

This Introduction to Construction Management Certificate is geared to those who are looking to advance their knowledge and understanding of the basic elements and skill sets required by a Professional Construction Manager. The course is a primer for those with degrees in Engineering, Architecture and other fields of study, who wish to gain a better understanding of the topical content of a degree specific to Construction Management and to help prepare them for additional studies or matriculations into advanced degrees in this area of study. The certificate will also benefit those currently working in construction as a craftsperson and want to learn skills necessary to move into the management side. Finally, it will also provide an opportunity for those currently working in a construction office without specific training or degrees, the option to further refine their skill sets related to Professional Construction Management.To the right is a picture of Chris Allen, President & CEO of Allen Concrete & Masonry, Inc., in Naples, Florida.
Mr. Allen, along with 14 of his employees, recently finished the "Introduction to Construction Management Certificate" program offered by Florida Gulf Coast University's Office of Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs. Pictured with Mr. Allen are (l) Dr. Ken Sims, II, Assistant Professor, in the Construction Management Department, was the instructor for the ten-week online course, and (r) Dr. Craig Capano, Professor and Chair of the Construction Management Department at FGCU.
A total of 18 participants completed the course on August 14, 2020.

Cannabis Professional Certificate Program $1395

The Cannabis Professional Certificate Program is an intensive 5-day workshop designed to meet the needs of those in the industry and community who want to increase their understanding of cannabis and its effects, the cannabis industry, and the environment in which it operates. The workshop will educate participants about the history of cannabis; cannabis laws and policies; the characteristics of the plant; cultivation and extraction techniques; cannabis as a business; and the physiology, pharmacology, and medicinal uses of cannabis. -
Golf Course Management Certificate Program $1425

The Golf Course Management Certificate Program will take place over the duration of a week including lectures and labs. This program would comprise of a wide variety of topics that focus on learning the key components for managing a golf course. Additionally, offered as part of the course, this program would prepare participants to sit for the examination to acquire the Florida's Pesticide Application License. -
