The database is a resource for students developing service-learning opportunities and faculty teaching service-learning courses. The agencies listed are not the only agencies that are appropriate for service-learning but they already have developed a relationship with FGCU, are pre-approved for service-learning, have an understanding of what service-learning means and what activities students can do to fulfill their service-learning hours.
All agencies listed in our database are nonprofit, not-for-profit, or a governmental organization.
There are two ways to search for an approved agency:
- Search for the name of the organization, such as Harry Chapin Food Bank
- Some organization names are listed under the letter "T" for the word "the". For example, The Talkin' Monkeys Project, The Salvation Army.
- Search by location such as, Lee County, Collier County, Charlotte County, etc.
- Search by job type such as, environment, education, social services, health, FGCU campus, legal services, marketing, etc.
If you are searching for service-learning opportunities, please find resources and our current list of opportunities in Eagle Link by clicking the button below.
