Master of Social Work (MSW)

The Master of Social Work (MSW) prepares graduates for advanced social work practice, based on a solid liberal arts foundation.

Students learn specialized clinical intervention skills to work with diverse individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities for an expanded clinical role that integrates policy analysis knowledge, and advocacy, and social action skills for effective community practice. Students may pursue the MSW degree on either a full or part-time basis. Students holding a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree can obtain a MSW degree in as little as one academic year.
