FGCU Emergency Management Advisory

Sept. 27, 2022 | FGCU is canceling all classes and non-essential campus activities Thursday and Friday. FGCU leaders will evaluate methods for students to make up for lost instructional time, which will likely include the use of planned study dates as regular academic class. Please expect updates to the academic calendar once we return to normal operations. For storm updates, visit fgcu.edu/emergencymanagement.

Angelita Berdiales

'19, Music Performance/Piano

“I’m very grateful to Maurizio and Laura Nisita for the scholarship support … The possibility of attending FGCU was exciting for me, but with all the expenses, it would have been impossible without their help.”

Brian Cummings

'19, Political Science

“It was incredible to receive the Cacho Family Scholarship. It helped me purchase books, pay rent, and buy those everyday items you need, but don’t factor into your budget … I honestly can’t thank them enough.”

Nadege Severe

'18, Accounting

“I’m a first-generation college student … My parents didn’t have enough money to help pay for my education. So, to those who chose me to receive financial assistance through the Immokalee Fund, ‘I thank you for helping me achieve my dream of becoming a CPA and of becoming a better person in the future.’”
